Service Academy Nomination

The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies: U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, NY; the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD; the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO; and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY. The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New London, CT, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment.

Representative Boebert continues to be inspired by the young people across Colorado's 4th District stepping up to serve our country. Our application to apply for a Congressional Nomination is OPEN as of March 20, 2026, for the class of 2031. Our application will close on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

There will be a U.S Service Academies, ROTC and Congressional Virtual Information event on Wednesday, April 22 2026 from 6:00-8:30pm MST. Interested applicants can register here

If you submit an application prior to our application opening on March 20, 2026, it will not be considered. If you fail to submit an application and supplemental materials by the deadline, you will not be considered for a nomination.
